Mobs Mode

Project Overview

A Wordle-style guessing game for Minecraft fans. Each round picks a secret mob or block - guess the name and the game reveals six color-coded clues showing how close you were across attributes like hostility, health, dimension, biomes, and more. There's no turn limit and no daily lock, so you can chain streaks for as long as you want. Mobs and Blocks modes track streaks separately.

Key Features

Two Game Modes

Guess one of 22 mobs or 24 blocks. Each guess is compared on six traits, such as health or hardness.

Smart Search Suggestions

Type to search with autocomplete suggestions showing icons. Used entries auto-disappear so you can't guess the same thing twice.

Color-coded Clues

Each guess fills a row of six attribute cells: green for a match, orange for partial overlap, red with an arrow when the answer is higher or lower, and gray for no match.

Streak Tracking

Each mode keeps its own streak for the session. With no turn limit you cannot lose a round, so the challenge is winning in fewer guesses.

Keyboard Navigation

Full keyboard support: arrow keys to navigate suggestions, Enter to submit, Esc to clear or close, Tab to move focus.

Win Screen & Replay

GG screen reveals the answer when you win. Click Play Again or press Esc to start a new round instantly.
